LOve & Latin Vibes
The Story:
Ben & Rowhan met in school in Cornwall and started going out at 15yrs old. In 2023 they will have been together 15 years and turning 30 – so a huge marker for them!
They survived 3 years long distance through uni, then went backpacking to Asia. They then moved up to London together. Then went backpacking again to Central America in Jan 2020, got engaged at the top of Volcano Acatanengo in Guatemala – got off the volcano and found out the whole world had shut down because of Covid.
They got stuck for a couple of weeks in the jungle in Guatemala then got repatriated home.
They then (reluctantly) used our leftover travel money to buy a place in Hertfordshire and plan their wedding!
We met these two amazing people traveling the Philippines in 2014. Having stayed in touch, following each other's life journeys, we had the pleasure of
photographing their pre-party and wedding day.
The Venue:
Set in the beautiful cornish countryside surrounded by their family and friends the scene was set for Ben and Rowhans' big day. The couple chose Trevenna a family farm with lovingly restored wedding barns in the heart of the Cornish countryside with stunning views over Cornwall. Set within acres of gardens, meadows, and fields, it provided an unforgettable location for Ben and Rowhan's guests.
The Vibe:
Think high energy and latin vibes, packed dance floor including an incredible Mexican band was the order of the day, and they certainly brought the party. From
